IT’S ALIVE!!!
So um, yeah. It’s been a while since I’ve last blogged, obviously. So what has the Kerrminator/Jokerr been up to? Life. Stephanie and I have been taking life one day at a time and it is flying! Let me just sum up what’s happened, what’s happening now, and what’s in the works.
Past
- Stephanie and I celebrated 4 years back in January w00t! That’s right, my beautiful wife still lets me hang around?!
- For our anniversary we upgraded some furniture in our house, mainly the entertainment system.
- For Valentines Day I bought Stephanie (ok, well me too) a new 50″ slim DLP to go with our new entertainment system :)
Present
- Stephanie has been having some hard times at work, we can always use more prayer. Pray for peace of mind and that we find a better something!
- I got promoted at work w00t! I’m now a Software Engineer I. Yes, I know what you’re thinking, “a one?” Well, at USAA a one is better than a three….
- Working on my Java 1.5 certification exam.
- We’re finishing up the details on our big vacation coming up this summer. We’ll be going on a Easter Caribbien cruise, our first, in May.
Future
- Stephanie’s parents will be moving to Corpus Oklahoma so we’ll be helping them.
- More house work and honey-dos.
- Get into blogging again and update the site.
- Make mom and dad happy with a grandchild. No, we’re not pregnant yet but we’ve been talking (double w00t!)
Yes, I’m alive, and I know I’ve been bad….horrible about blogging, but I’ll start working on that.
KerrMAN!!! Glad to see that you are back, I should follow suit and update my blog. Glad to hear all of the updates, especially that last part about “talking.” Hope that you guys are doing great, sounds like it from the blog. We will see you soon.
About time you updated. Way to go with the V-day present. Maybe I should try that. Not sure it would fly. We actually got each other a new refrigerator for V-day. More practical but not as fun.
Oh, and I thought I knew where every small town in Oklahoma was, but I’ve never heard of Corpus, OK. (and google maps doesn’t know where it is either)
Corpus, OK is so small that it doesn’t even make the map…it is a combination of Oklahoma and Corpus Christi :). Only the Miller/Bailey/Kerr family knows about this small town, but now everyone will know about it (however google map will never find us)
