Well this just sucks. My iPod has been acting up the last couple of weeks and it officially crapped out on me the other day. So I now have a perfectly useless 20gig iPod…. On the plus side, they guys at the Apple store said they’d give me 10% off if I recycled it. In the mean time Stephanie and I will be sharing our 30gig video iPod.
That’s 10% off after a 15% restocking fee! Dude, that is sad!
I feel your pain. My 3rd gen ipod’s battery crapped out for the second time. It was a big pain to change it the first time and I’m not looking forward to doing it again.
I remember seeing a iPod doctor bit on the news. Supposedly they can repair them. It may be worth looking into.
