While watching the latest Mac ads online I saw a link to some of the parodies. One parody in particular caught my attention, the Christian v. Christ follower. The movies point out a real issue amongst a lot Christians. Are we following Christ or a religion? This is question is something that can hit you like a Mac truck, pun intended, and can really open your eyes.

The Christian in the movie does all right things and say the right words however he’s missing the point of what it means to be a Christian. I see it all the time myself. People who claim to be a Christian yet don’t know what it means to be a Christian. I’d be lying if I said that I haven’t been like the Christian in the movies. It’s just so easy to get caught up in talking the talk that we forget to walk to walk.

So what does it mean to be a true Christian? To me, it means to be more like Christ. While the meaning may be different for others, to be like Christ is what the “Christian” in the video was missing. Instead, he conformed to a religion and was bottled down by the look and feel of it rather than the meaning. So here’s the million dollar question that only you can answer. Are you the Christian or the Christ follower?

I’ve been playing World Of Warcraft for almost a year now. Kinda crazy to think that I’ve played one game for over 10 months and not get tired of it. However, all good things must come to an end. Why did I quit? Family and time. I love the game however when you get to the “end-game” it just requires too much time. Seeing as how my free time is a commodity as it is, I’d rather spend it with my family. So to all WoW friends out there, I bid you adieu.

Free at last, free at last.  Thank God almighty we are free at last!  Except for the house….  That’s right, last night Steph and I paid off everything except for the house.  It’s so nice not having those bills come in anymore.  Not that we were in trouble, but it’s just so nice to not even give them a second thought.  This deserves a double w00t.
