Joel Spolsky had an interesting article about choices and I couldn’t help but think of it when I saw this.  Seriously, what were they thinking?

So we’re having bad weather here.  Not the first time, won’t be the last.  But what I really love is the weather people give us the news.  “Stay off the roads!  The city is shutting down!  Repent sinners because the rapture is upon us…we’re all going to die!!!!!!!!!!!!”  OK, I embellished a bit but seriously!  That’s almost what every news channel sound like right now.

Oh well, at least I can work from home.
