The Best Steak?
Steph has been giving me subtle hints about grilling out the last couple of days. Being the intuitive person that I am I picked up some steaks today on my way home from work. Considering it was around 5:45 I didn’t want to stop at the HEB on 281 & 1604. For those that don’t know anything about San Antonio, that area is a madhouse during rush hour. Instead I stopped by the Wal-Mart right by the house. After looking over their meat I settled for the small pack of rib eyes. I fired up the grill, added a few spices to the meat and cooked it. To my surprise the steak was probably one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. I’m a pretty good cook if I do say so myself but good meat from Wal-Mart?! Usually I stereotype Wal-Mart food with their service, average at best. Boy was I wrong. Looks like I might start buying my meat from them….
